Time resolved spectroscopy of Ge-H stretching vibrations in hydrogenated amorphous germanium

Role of doping and sheet size in tailoring optoelectronic properties of germanene: A TDDFT study

“…For Ge 53 H 74 B 1 , Ge 53 H 73 P 1 , Ge 53 H 74 Si 1 , Ge 53 H 74 Zr 1 , and Ge 53 H 74 C 1 , the bands at frequencies 12–19 cm −1 are related to GeH in‐plane bending vibrations, while the bands at frequencies 500–868 cm −1 correspond to GeH out‐of‐plane bending vibrations, see Figure . This agrees with the experimentally measured GeH bending vibration of 550–560 cm −1 . The frequencies in the range of 215–295 cm −1 are related to GeGe stretching vibrations, which also agree with the experimental values of 230–275 cm −1 .…”
