Abstract:The concept of time evolution was applied to the study of the neutron scattering by 58Ni nuclei. The interval of neutron energies from 500 to 800 keV was examined. The experimental data on the energy dependence of the total and differential cross sections and on the experimental-based resonance spaces and widths were used to determine the mean time delays and the time delay dispersions for the forward scattering. Both the energy autocorrelation function and the time probability density function for this proces… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
