Time analysis of the elastic neutron scattering by the 58Ni nuclei in the range 0.5–0.8 MeV

Abstract: The concept of time evolution was applied to the study of the neutron scattering by 58Ni nuclei. The interval of neutron energies from 500 to 800 keV was examined. The experimental data on the energy dependence of the total and differential cross sections and on the experimental-based resonance spaces and widths were used to determine the mean time delays and the time delay dispersions for the forward scattering.
