Tilting Path Optimization of Tilt Quad Rotor in Conversion Process Based on Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm

Abstract: The tilt quad rotor (TQR) has the problem of manipulation redundancy due to the aerodynamic structure changing in conversion mode. The tilting path is limited by the conversion corridor. In order to solve the problem of manipulation redundancy in conversion mode and find out the optimal tilting path in conversion corridor, the aerodynamic model of the TQR based on Goldstein vortex theory is established to obtain the manipulation derivative matrix and conversion corridor. A novel manipulation strategy is propos… Show more

“…is method is proposed to take advantage of the positive feedback mechanism of the association strategy based on the angle subcontrol and the fast convergence at initialization, and we apply it to the second step in the ant colony algorithm, initializing the population, which is used to improve the situation that the ant colony algorithm relies too much on the initialized population, the poor adaptation of the population individuals, and the premature maturity of the algorithm. e coding operation is a mapping of expressions to genotypes [21]. Combined with the characteristics of route planning, the path-encoding approach is used to identify the attractions with natural numbers of 1, 2, .…”

“…Given the vehicle specifications and operational constraints including the flying qualities and passenger ride quality, the goal of articulation profile design is to develop a tilting trajectory that is best suited for the type of aircraft at its given flight conditions. In 20 , the tilting trajectory was optimized for a quadrotor aircraft using the ant colony optimization algorithm, and in 21 , the takeoff trajectory of a tilt-rotor aircraft was optimized using the direct allocation method. In 22,23 the dynamic modeling and control of a hybrid eVTOL vehicle configured with four synchronized tilt-rotors were considered.…”
