TicTacToes: Assessing Toe Movements as an Input Modality

Abstract

In this work, we investigate the feasibility of a toe-based input modality for interacting with computing systems. For this, we investigate the influence of five factors on the accuracy, efficiency, and user expierience of such interfaces. In addition to the direction and the toes as illustrated in this figure, we further investigate the influence of the posture, the scaling of the interaction range and the location of the target.
