Thyroxine stimulation of rat liver microsomal NADH-cytochrome c reductase in vitro

Zusammenfassung Durch den Einsatz von Nitrovin (1,5 bis (5‐nitro‐2‐furyl) ‐1,4‐pentadien‐3‐on amidinohydrazon hydrochlorid) im Kaulquappentest wurde das Vorhandensein einer intermediären Wirksamkeit dieses Wachstumförderers überprüft. In dem Test konnte eine antithyreoidale und damit intermediäre Wirkung unter Ausschaltung jedweder Einflüsse aus dem Intestinaltrakt demonstriert werden. Der Zusatz von Nitrovin (2,0 mcg/ml Wasser) zum thyroxinhaltigen Wasser erbrachte am 12. Behandlungstag gegenüber der Kontrollgruppe (20 mcg L‐Thyroxin pro 1 Wasser) eine hochsignifikante Erhöhung der an den Froschlarven ermittelten Meßwerte, während der Zusatz von Vitamin D3 (2000 i. E./1‐Thyroxin‐haltigem Wasser) im Gegensatz dazu die Metamorphose der Kaulquappen statistisch hoch signifikant beschleunigte. Die Ergebnisse werden vor dem Hintergrund des Thyroxinstoffwechsels diskutiert.
