Thyroid Inhibition of Rats Bearing Transplantable, Hormone-Producing Pituitary Tumors

Abstract: Previous reports from this laboratory ( I ) have described the significantly reduced uptake of radioactive iodine, and the histology of an understimulated thyroid gland, present in rats implanted with hormone-secreting pituitary tumors.
