Thyroid Glandular Epithelial Choristoma of the Iris

Abstract: A healthy 76-year-old man presented with a right iris mass that had been present since birth but had recently enlarged. His visual acuity was 20/60 OD and 20/20 OS. Slitlamp biomicroscopy results showed a peripapillary yellow-white iris lesion with multiple overlying cystoid abnormalities and intrinsic vessels at the 6 o'clock position measuring 4 × 3 × 1.7 mm (Figure , A).
