Abstract:Purpose
Transgender women experience higher-than-average rates of multiple medical conditions. Thyroid cancer occurs more frequently in those assigned female at birth (AFAB) than in those assigned male at birth (AMAB). We sought to characterize thyroid cancer among transgender female veterans.
