Abstract:Hyperhomocysteinemia has been linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. High levels of homocysteine (Hcy) promote endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress that can increase reactive oxygen species (ROS), leading to endothelial dysfunction.
