Abstract: Background:Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a chronic inflammatory disease that typically affects the axial joint and enthesis. Abnormal hyperplasia of osteoblasts in the vertebral corner is the underlying pathogenesis of syndesmophyte formation.
