Abstract: BackgroundIn 2006, the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Ad Hoc Committee on Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) recommended the urinary protein level in a spot (untimed) urine specimen (determined as urinary protein-to-urinary creatinine ratio; spot P/C ratio) over a 24-hour urine protein excretion.
