Abstract:Microangiopathic hemolytic anaemia, thrombocytopenia, renal failure, neurologic abnormalities, and fever form the pentad of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). Early diagnosis is crucial because TTP responds well to plasmapheresis therapy but is associated with substantial mortality if left untreated.
