Thrombophilia Screening: Not So Straightforward

Abstract: Although inherited thrombophilias are lifelong risk factors for a first thrombotic episode, progression to thrombosis is multifactorial and not all individuals with inherited thrombophilia develop thrombosis in their lifetimes.
