Thrombocytopenia and Bloodstream Infection: Incidence and Implication on Length of Stay in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Abstract: The incidence and prognosis of thrombocytopenia in critically ill patients with bloodstream infection (BSI) is not well delineated in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) setting.
