Abstract:Three simple, precise, and sensitive UV spectrophotometric methods have been developed and validated for the determination of Chitosan (CH) in the presence of Ascorbic acid (AA) in a binary mixture. Method A is a derivative ratio method (1 DD) that measures the peak amplitude of the first derivative for CH and AA at 207.2 and 282 nm; respectively. Method B is a ratio difference method (RDSM) that measures the peak amplitude difference of the ratio spectra (P 204.6-202.9) and (P 268-230) for CH and AA; respec… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
