Resumo -Este artigo apresenta um novo método de modulação descontínua com portadora para inversores trifásicos com pernas em paralelo magneticamente acopladas. A modulação proposta é caracterizada por produzir tensões equivalentes de linha multínivel com reduzido conteúdo harmônico, possibilitar o controle da corrente circulante e distribuir adequadamente as comutações entre os interruptores. Para tanto, uma máquina de estados é utilizada, visando também reduzir o número de comutações. Ainda, é importante mencionar que a modulação proposta é de fácil implementação, pois é baseada em portadora e pode ser implementada em DSP e microcontroladores comerciais sem a necessidade de hardware externo. Por fim, resultados de simulação e experimentais são apresentados, demonstrando o bom desempenho do método proposto. Palavras-Chave CARRIER-BASED DISCONTINUOUS MODULATION FOR INVERTERS WITH PARALLEL LEGSAbstract -This paper presents a simple carried-based discontinuous geometric modulation approach for threephase voltage fed converters with multiple magnetically coupled legs. The proposed modulation technique produces multilevel equivalent PWM line-to-line output voltages with a reduced harmonic distortion. A state machine is used to achieve the results and to reduce the number of commutations. Moreover, it is proposed a proportional controller to limit the circulating currents to acceptable values. It is important to mention that the implementation of the proposed modulation is straightforward, requiring neither a complex hardware nor a high development effort. Furthermore, simulation and experimental results are presented to demonstrate the good performance of the proposed method.

Abstract-Parallel Voltage Source Converters (VSCs) require an inductive filter to suppress the circulating current. The size of this filter can be minimized by reducing either the maximum value of the flux linkage or the core losses. This paper presents a modified Discontinuous Pulsewidth Modulation (DPWM) scheme to reduce the maximum value of the flux linkage and the core losses in the circulating current filter. In the proposed PWM scheme, the dwell time of an active vector is divided within a half-carrier cycle to ensure simultaneous occurrence of the same zero vectors in both VSCs. A function to decide the ratio of the dwell time of the divided active vector is also presented. The effect of the proposed PWM scheme on the maximum value of the flux linkage and the core losses is analyzed and compared with that of the space vector modulation and 60• clamped DPWM schemes. The analytical expressions for the maximum value of the flux linkage are derived for each of these PWM schemes. In addition, the effect of the proposed PWM scheme on the line current ripple and the switching losses is also analyzed and compared. To verify the analysis, experimental results are presented, which prove the effectiveness of the proposed PWM scheme.

In this paper, a novel topology scheme of photovoltaic inverter is presented. The proposed topology employ the 4-terminal switch-network that consist of three interleaving parallel connection half-bridges and a three winding transformer into low voltage inverter to achieve a multilevel voltage. This new inverter increases the output power and reduce the volume of filter inductance. The operation principle and all switch modes are described in details. Meanwhile, the modulation method is also demonstrated to achieve operation. Finally, simulation and experiment results verify the theoretical analysis.
