Three new species, a lectotype designation, and taxonomic and geographic notes in Eburiini (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Cerambycinae)

10-Methyldodecanal, a Novel Attractant Pheromone Produced by Males of the South American Cerambycid Beetle Eburodacrys vittata

“…It is particularly important because the field bioassays in which species from two genera within the tribe Eburiini were caught, suggest that the pheromone component, 10-methyldodecanal, may be the first representative of a new pheromone motif, rather than a structure unique to a single species. Given that there are approximately 255 described species within the tribe Eburiini [ 24 ], it seems likely that a number of these species may use 10-methyldodecanal or related compounds as pheromones.…”

Revisión del género Eburia Lepeletier y A. Serville In Lacordaire (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae: Eburini) depositados en la Colección Entomológica de la Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas, UNACH

“…En la revisión del género Eburia Lepeletier y A. Serville In Lacordaire (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae: Eburini) por , reporta en su obra "Revision taxonómica de las especies del genero Eburia Lepeletier y A. Serville In Lacordaire de Norte y Centroamerica (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae)" 56 especies, de las cuales 44 especies se encuentran en México y 9 especies están registradas para Chiapas. Botero (2015), menciona 87 especies del genero Eburia; sin embargo, Monné (2016) y Bezark (2019), reportan 85 especies de este género que se distribuyen desde el sur de los Estados Unidos de Norteamerica hasta Suramerica, de los cuales 35 especies de Eburia se encuentran registradas para México. Bajo esta expectativa, se planteo reaylizar el presente trabajo para determinar las especies del Género Eburia que se encuentran depositadas en la Colección Entomológica de la Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas de la Universidad Autonóma de Chiapas.…”

Two new species of Beraba Martins, 1997 and new geographical records of Eburiini (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae)
