Three historic railway bridges in Katanga, DR Congo

Abstract: Nous avons relaté -dans une monographie intitulée "Le Pont-rail en béton armé sur le Lualaba à Kongolo" -l'effort considérable accompli par la Cie C. F. L. pour supprimer la solution de continuité de son réseau entre Kongolo et Kabalo.Cette Jonction demandait des ouvrages importants, à exécuter dans des conditions particulièrement difficiles : il s'agissait de traverser le Lualaba -gros fleuve impétueux -, la Lukuga -large rivière qui coule à faible pente dans une plaine perméable -et plusieurs autres rivières.
