Three-dimensional simulation of a gas-centered swirl coaxial injector spray under pulsation conditions

Abstract: Based on steady-state experiments, a three-dimensional (3D) simulation study under pulsation conditions was carried out. This was performed to study the effect of pulsation of the supply system on the atomization characteristics of a gas-centered swirl coaxial injector. The results indicated that the spray shape resembled a pagoda when the Klystron effect occurred.
