Abstract:During a taxonomic study on tree borers in Egypt, three beetles of them were recorded for the first time in Egypt. They were Bostrychoplites sp. and Heterobostrychus equalis (Waterhouse, 1884) belonging to family Bostrichidae and Acanthoscelides macrophthalmus (Schaeffer, 1907) belonging to family Bruchidae. In this study illustrated description of these species were given with the collecting date, location and host plant.
