Abstract: Actinomycosis is an indolent, slowly progressive infection caused by Gram-positive facultative anaerobic bacteria from the genus Actinomyces. These bacteria have been reported as a cause of ophthalmic infections such as endophthalmitis, keratitis, and canaliculitis.
