Three-Body Wave Function of Li6

Abstract: 1947Low-lying states of Li6 have been investigated by regarding Li 6 as a three-particle system consisting of an a-particle, a proton and ·a. neutron. The Faddeev equation for bound states of this system below the three-particle threshold is solved by the nonlocal separable potential of Yamaguchi type. The binding energy of Li6 is reproduced by the fact that N-N and a-N interactions are assumed to be central, and central plus L-S forces, respectively.
