Thoracoscopic Reduction Pneumoplasty for Severe Emphysema: Do Pleural Adhesions Affect Outcome?

Abstract: Pleural adhesions may be associated with increased morbidity and less improvement in FEV1 but they do not contraindicate thoracoscopic reduction pneumoplasty.
