Thoracic Calcifications in Childhood

Abstract: Thoracic calcifications are found in the following locations: mediastinum, lung, pleura, cardiovascular system, and thoracic wall. The calcifications of the mediastinum include mostly inflammatory lesions and malignant neoplasms. Pulmonary calcifications are mainly inflammatory lesions and metastases of osteosarcomas.
