Abstract:Disulfide bonds play a critical role in the pharmaceutical and biological properties of peptides. In this work, disulfiram and thiram were investigated to synthesize disulfide bonds in peptides. Excellent purities of single disulfide bond‐containing peptides were achieved with a fast reaction rate. Furthermore, one‐pot regioselective synthesis of two disulfide bonds was successfully achieved by the combination of disulfiram or thiram with trans‐[PtBr2(CN)4]2‐ under aqueous conditions.
