Only five studies had sample sizes larger than 20 (27, 30, 42, 43 and 74), one study had a sample of 20 TCKs, and 14 studies had sample sizes which were smaller than 20.…”

Kwon (2019) reported in his study of 6 ATCKs that globally mobile children develop a sense of belonging from relationships they form with individuals from similar backgrounds (such as those who have shared a mobile lifestyle), rather than geographical location. Ebbeck & Reus (2005) however reported that children did not have a sense of belonging when starting their new school in Singapore.…”
