Thiopentone sodium versus propofol for anaesthesia in modified electro-convulsive therapy (ECT)

Abstract: Objectives: To compare the effects of thiopentone sodium and propofol as an intravenous anaesthetic agent in modified ECT. Methods: 100 patients of ASA I & II grade were randomly assigned in to two groups. Both groups were premedicated in ususal manner.
