Abstract: Measuring metacognitionResearch on metacognition poses quite a challenge: asking people directly to evaluate their metacognition may be flawed as they may struggle to realistically evaluate their deficits if they do indeed have a deficit in metacognition (Nelson & Narens, 1994).
