Abstract:Two-dimensional (2D) transition-metal dichalcogenide-based homo-and heterostructures result in an unusual route to drastically increase the Seebeck coefficient through the interface-induced Seebeck effect. This current issue has motivated us to study the in-plane Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity of thickness-controlled 2D platinum ditelluride (PtTe 2 ) thin films. The 2D PtTe 2 thin films, synthesized by a simple tellurization process, exhibit a distinct morphological transition from holey to co… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
