Thermostatistics of Deformed Bosons and Fermions

Abstract: Based on the q-deformed oscillator algebra, we study the behavior of the mean occupation number and its analogies with intermediate statistics and we obtain an expression in terms of an infinite continued fraction, thus clarifying successive approximations. In this framework, we study the thermostatistics of q-deformed bosons and fermions and show that thermodynamics can be built on the formalism of qcalculus. The entire structure of thermodynamics is preserved if ordinary derivatives are replaced by the use o… Show more

“…Whenever the above stability conditions are not respected, the system becomes unstable and the phase transition takes place [20,21]. The coexistence line of a system with one conserved charge becomes in this case a two dimensional surface in (T, P, y) space, enclosing the region where mechanical and diffusive instabilities occur.…”

“…In paper [37], two-parameter deformed Bose gas model was proposed to find the correlation functions of the particle. In a series of papers, the thermodynamics of ideal Bose and Fermi systems [38][39][40] was studied. In paper [41], the phenomenon of the Bose-Einstein condensation of the relativistic ideal Bose gas with deformed commutation relations for positions and momenta operators is investigated.…”
