Abstract:Meloxicam (MX) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used mainly to reduce pain, inflammation, and fever. In the present study, thermosensitive polyurethane (PU)-based hydrogels with various excipients (PEG, PVP, HPC, and essential oil) were prepared and loaded with MX.
