Thermophysical properties of solid phase Ti-6Al-4V alloy over a wide temperature range

Abstract: This paper presents experimental results on thermophysical properties of the most commonly used titanium alloy, Ti-6Al-4V, in its solid phase. The subsecond pulse calorimetry has been applied for measuring heat capacity, specific electrical resistivity, and hemispherical total and normal spectral emissivity, and the laser flash method for measuring thermal diffusivity.
