Thermomechanical properties and rheological behavior of biodegradable composites

Abstract: The effect of type and content of fillers on the thermal, mechanical, and rheological behavior of the commercial biodegradable polyester product, Ecovio® (BASF) is analytically studied. Ecovio® is basically a blend of poly(butylene adipate‐terephthalate) (PBAT) copolyester (Ecoflex®, BASF) and polylactide (PLA).
