“…The Jouyban–Acree model is widely used to represent both temperature and composition of mixed solvents effects on solubility of solute . The general form of the equation could be written as In formula , J i terms are the Jouyban–Acree model parameter and T is the absolute temperature; ω 2 and ω 3 represent the mass fractions of isopropanol and ethyl acetate of the solution, respectively, ω 3 = 1 – ω 2 ; ( x 1 ) 2 , and ( x 1 ) 3 are the mole fraction solubility of 2,4-dimethoxybenzoic acid in the isopropanol and ethyl acetate respectively.…”

“…Several studies proved the potential use of PEG 400 in enhancing the solubility of various poorly water-soluble drugs such as meloxicam, acetaminophen, indomethacin, tadalafil, isatin, and silymarin . Similar studies also showed the solubility behavior of hydrophobic drugs such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, pioglitazone hydrochloride, lamotrigine, clonazepam, and diazepam in aqueous and nonaqueous PEG 600 systems. PG is a colorless, odorless, viscous organic liquid and it has been used almost exclusively in the production of water insoluble drugs . Moreover, it can be used as solvent and diluent in pharmaceutical preparations.…”
