“…Unfortunately, the intensity of CePO 2 + was too low to measure an exact value of its AE. However, by analogy with molecular ions, MPO 2 + (M = Ca, Sr, Ba, Sn, Pb, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Co, and Eu) produced in similar systems, and the absence of the CePO 3 + ion with higher m/z value in mass spectra we can conclude that CePO 2 + is a product of the direct ionization of CePO 2 molecule.
