Abstract:Thermoelectric materials can convert waste heat to electricity. Ternary thallium-telluride alloys, such as Ag-Te-Tl or Cu-Te-Tl, are materials with extremely low thermal conductivity that have potential to be the next generation of thermoelectric materials. Furthermore, Te-Tl glass is a potential new glass for photonic devices. Thus, knowledge of the binary phase diagram and future calculations of higher-ordered systems are very important. In this work, the Te-Tl binary system has been modeled using the associ… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
