“…The following coordinates were accepted in [5,6] for the eutectic transformation (Si) + melt SiB 6 : x(B) eut = 0.08 and T eut = 1658 K. At the same time, the corresponding values differ strongly, according to [7][8][9][10]: x(B) eut ranges from 0.08 [7] to 0.14 [10], while temperature T eut ranges from 1636 [9] to 1676 K [7]. The value of the eutectic transformation temperature obtained later in [11] by differential scanning calorim etry (DSC) coincides with the result in [9], 1636 K, and this value is considered to be reliable in this work.
