Abstract: Background Early-stage high-risk breast cancer (BC) is standardly treated with breast-conserving therapy (BCT), combined with systemic therapy and radiotherapy (RT) ± tumor bed boost, e.g., with interstitial high-dose-rate brachytherapy (HDR-BT).
