Thermal radiation and inclined magnetic field effects on MHD flow past a linearly accelerated inclined plate in a porous medium with variable temperature

Abstract: An analysis of unsteady MHD natural convective flow, transfer of mass, and radiation past linearly accelerated slanted plate inserted in an immersed permeable medium with uniform permeability, variable temperature, and concentration within the sight of a slanted magnetic field has been done. The novelty of the current examination is to analyze the effect of a slanted magnetic field on the flow phenomena with heat source/sink and destructive reaction for linearly accelerated slanted plate. The governing equatio… Show more

“…In Figure 1, the geometry of problem is clearly demonstrated. Thus, having all aforementioned physical assumptions, the partial differential equations that define the flow problem are given as follows (Endalew and Nayak 24 and Endalew et al 26 ): w t ' = ν 2 w y ' 2 σ B o 2 sin 2 ϕ ρ + ν K ' normalp w + ( cos γ ) g β ' ( C ' C ' ) + ( cos γ ) g β ( T ' T ' ) , ρ .1em C p T ' t ' = q r y ' + κ 2 T ' y ' 2 + S ' ( T ' T ' ) , C ' t ' = D 2 C ' y ' 2 K c ( C ' C ' .03em ) . …”

“…Sandeep and Sugunamma [6] studied the influence of the aligning magnetic field on the unsteady flow of a dusty fluid through a porous medium in a vertical channel. Recently, Endalew and Nayak [7] considered the effects of an inclined magnetic field and chemical reaction of unsteady flow through a porous medium over align plate with thermal radiation. Yadav and Jaiswal [8] scrutinized the impact of an inclined magnetic field on a rotating fluid in the presence of a porous medium.…”
