Thermal Deformation and Fracturing in Olivine‐rich Samples

Abstract: A study was made of the effect of low-temperature thermal fatigue on the generation of regular and irregular fractures in olivine-rich terrestrial rocks. The results appear to confirm the influence of thermal actions in the metamorphism of stony meteorites and lunar rocks.
