Abstract:This study investigated the thermal touch comfort of ceramic tiles. The surface temperature was calculated by calculating the heat transfer at the time of contact. It is explained how the thermal inertia phenomenon contributes to the calculation of the surface temperature, and ceramic tiles feel cold when touched.
