Abstract: To understand the thermal characteristics, nonisothermal kinetic models, and volatile constituents during the energy conversion of bituminous materials at the fraction level, differential scanning calorimetry–mass spectrometry tests were performed on bituminous four fractions, including saturates, aromatics, resins, and asphaltenes (SARA).
