Abstract:Patients: twenty-four patients with dysfunctional menorrhagia that met the inclusion criteria.Intervention: Endometrial thermal ablation using the THERMACHOICE thermal balloon system.
Measurement of Success:Treatment success was defined as elimination of menstruation (amenorrhea), or a significant reduction of flow to normal menstruation (cumcnorrhea) or less than normal menstruation (hypomcnorrhoea). Failed clinical outcome was defined as persistent menorrhagia.
