Abstract: Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APS) is a multisystem disorder characterized by thromboembolic events in the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies (APLA). Catastrophic antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (CAPS) is an uncommon variant of APS which is associated with widespread coagulopathy that predominantly affects small vessels.
