Therapeutic approaches to osteosarcopenia: insights for the clinician

Abstract: Osteopenia/osteoporosis and sarcopenia are both age-related conditions. Given the well-defined bone and muscle interaction, when osteopenia and sarcopenia occur simultaneously, this geriatric syndrome is defined as ‘osteosarcopenia’.
