Theoretical Model for the Effect of Temperature on the Fluorescence Spectrum of Laser Dye (Rh6G) in Acetone

Abstract: In this research, the effect of temperature change on the fluorescence intensity for Rhodamine 6G (Rh6G) in acetone from room temperature to freezing point of solvent by using liquid nitrogen was studied experimentally and theoretically. As we have noted that the increased temperature led to less intensity and increasingly broader spectrum. We estimate theoretical model for this effect, and the theoretical equation was Extra Val equation.

“…These may either luminesce or not at lower frequencies than monomeric excited molecules. Furthermore, as the concentration increased, the mean distance between molecules decreased and so the energy transfer effect was favoured, in which the excitation energy of a molecule was transmitted to nearby molecules; this can occur between molecules separated by up to 100 nm …”

“…The absorption maxima of Cl‐SBR at 287 nm is attributed to the π to π* transition of the polymer. It can be seen from the figure that the π to π* transition of the all the rubber composite materials is changed to slightly a higher wavelength region . For example, 7 phr composite shows a higher UV absorption peak at 295 nm.…”

“…These results are in agreement with the literature. 32,44 It could also be noticed that a plateau was not reached. 43 When a plateau is reached, at high concentrations, aggregation formation restricts the peak shift.…”
