“…therein). On the other hand, the ethylene-1- 13 C isotopologue has been seldom studied [15][16][17] despite the fact that one can expect to observe it in the spectra of the atmospheres of the outer planetary bodies. For this purpose and following our previous high resolution analysis of the line positions of the five interacting bands m 10 , m 8 , m 7 , m 4 and m 6 of 13 C 12 CH 4 [16] we present in this paper an analogous study dealing with their line and band intensities.…”

“…In Table 1, the improved rotational ground state constants determined from this work are presented. Ground state constants of 13 C 12 CH 4 previously obtained by Tan and Lebron [7] and Flaud et al [6] are also presented in Table 1 for comparison. The two ground state sextic constants (H K and h K ) of 13 C 12 CH 4 reported by Flaud et al [6] were fixed to those of the ground states of 12 C 2 H 4 [11].…”

“…The initial fitting process of the upper state (m 12 = 1) was aided by the ground state and upper state (m 12 = 1) constants taken from the work of Tan and Lebron [7]. A nonlinear least-squares fitting program based on Watson's A-reduced Hamiltonian [10] in the I r representation was used to fit the rotational lines.…”

“…Quite recently, we reported the results of our infrared work on the m 12 band of 13 C 12 CH 4 [1], the m 7 band of cis-C 2 H 2 D 2 [2], and the m 3 and m 6 bands of C 2 H 3 D in separate single-state analyses [3,4]. As part of our ongoing infrared investigation on ethylene, specifically on the isopotomer C 2 H 3 D, we report in this note the results of the analysis we did on the m 12 band of C 2 H 3 D. In addition to the improved overall accuracy of the rovibrational constants, more higher-order upper state constants were derived in this analysis.…”
