Abstract: Presence of inflammatory factors in the tumor microenvironment is well known yet their specific role in tumorigenesis is elusive. The core inflammatory pathways are conserved in Drosophila, including the Toll-Like Receptor (TLR) and the Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) pathway.
