The weight of looked after children and their carers: implications and outcomes

Abstract: Obesity is known to be a contributory factor for health conditions. Weight is measured as Body Mass Index (BMI), a calculation using height and weight, and it is now common knowledge that a high BMI has implications for an individual’s health.
