The velocity splitting during the nucleation and growth of Si nanoparticles produced by pulsed laser deposition

Abstract: The dynamic mechanism of the velocity splitting during the nucleation and growth of silicon nanoparticles produced by pulsed laser deposition is investigated using the Monte Carlo simulation method. Compared with the previous works, the earlier onset and end of the splitting phenomenon are found due to the nucleation and growth of Si nanoparticles in this paper.
